Our products are sized normally. If in doubt, check the size guide on the product. It shows you how to take your measurements and find the best fit.

We believe natural materials are best. Almost everything at House of Vinterberg is made from natural fibres. A small number of pieces contain a touch of elastane for comfort and stretch, but are still at least 95% natural (wool, cotton, silk, linen, cashmere, mohair and more).

Our Copenhagen Capsule Collection is designed to be timeless. Pieces are restocked or upgraded. Limited collections and collaborations are made for a specific purpose and aren't replenished.

The first appointment is about understanding your style and preferences. We talk through materials, colours and design details, take your measurements and guide you through the options that suit you.

A design and measuring session typically takes 60 minutes. We make sure everything feels right without rushing it.

Most clients need 1 to 2 fittings to achieve the ideal fit. The exact number depends on design complexity and your preferences.

From first consultation to finished product the process typically takes 3 to 5 weeks. That allows time for the craftsmanship and any adjustments.

Made-to-measure starts with a base pattern that we adapt to your measurements and preferences. Bespoke is fully customised, with every detail created from scratch for you. Bespoke is the highest level of personalisation.

Absolutely. Photos or garments help us understand your vision and ensure we create something that reflects your style.

We ship with PostNord, GLS and DAO. Within Denmark, shipping is DKK 49 regardless of carrier. For orders over DKK 1,000 shipping is free. We deliver to your nearest pickup point so the clothing arrives safely.

Yes, we ship to a wide range of countries. Add an item to your cart and enter your shipping address to see availability and pricing. If your country isn't supported automatically, write to info@houseofvinterberg.com and we'll do our best to arrange delivery.

Ready-to-wear (RTW) ships the next business day and typically arrives within 3 days. Made-to-measure (MTO) is produced specifically for you on order, and production takes up to 5 weeks. Once complete, the item is delivered within 3 days. If an order contains both RTW and MTO, the whole order ships together as MTO. Write to info@houseofvinterberg.com if you need the RTW item sooner.

Yes. Once your order is placed, you'll receive tracking information by email within 24 hours. If you hear nothing, write to info@houseofvinterberg.com and we'll locate your order.

Yes. For summer you'll find light materials like linen and breathable cotton blends. Winter collections include warm wool, cashmere and heavier textures that provide comfort and style.

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in original condition. See our full terms for details.

Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, both in Denmark and internationally. We recommend a tracked shipping service so the return arrives safely. Questions about the process can be sent to info@houseofvinterberg.com.

Made-to-measure clothing is made specifically for you and cannot be returned. We're happy to make adjustments so the fit is right.

We include a fitting session so the suit feels right. If adjustments are needed, we handle them quickly so it sits as it should.

Yes. All necessary adjustments are covered within the first 30 days after delivery at no extra cost. After that period we can still make changes for a small fee.

In most cases, yes. We alter high-quality clothing even when it isn't bought from us. Write to us to discuss.

Yes. Once your pattern is created, it's stored securely for future orders. That makes repeat purchases faster and easier.

We take full payment upfront before beginning your made-to-measure order. This secures your chosen material and design, and lets us start straight away.

Yes. Premium materials and special design features may carry an extra cost. We always inform you of any additional charges during the consultation so you can make the right choice for your budget and style.

Yes. We help you create a coherent wardrobe with tailored pieces for different occasions. During the consultation we talk through fabrics, styles and combinations so everything works together.

We accept card payments via Visa and Mastercard. You can also pay with Apple Pay.

Yes. We don't store your personal data and never share your information with third parties.

Absolutely. We create tailored suits for weddings, galas and other formal events. Book a session in the showroom to design a suit that suits the occasion.

Yes. We offer made-to-measure clothing for business casual including blazers, trousers and smart sets. You can design them to your preferred fit, material and style for a polished but relaxed look.

A tuxedo is a fully formal suit with matching trousers, satin lapels and often a bow tie. A dinner jacket is the jacket piece, which can be combined with contrast-colour trousers for a less formal but still elegant look.

Looking after your clothing is essential if it's to last. We recommend gentle steaming, occasional professional cleaning and storage on quality hangers to preserve shape and material. With the right care, your clothing keeps its appearance for many years.

A well-made made-to-measure suit lasts many years with proper care. It's tailored to your measurements and made from high-quality materials, so it often outlasts off-the-rack alternatives. Regular maintenance keeps it sharp.

We don't offer storage, but we're happy to advise on care. For cleaning we recommend professional dry cleaning for tailored pieces and gentle steaming to preserve shape and material.
